So the winter months are here, and there is nowhere to hide! So instead I embrace it and move forward! Skin is the one of the most important things to take care of in winter time! It takes on all the cracking, itching and drying from the elements changing so why not take care of the situation before it even comes along. For myself and my skin I love to use oils in the winter time! Now I know your thinking oils? No way. But these oils absorb fast into the skin so that your not left feeling like a bucket of grease! Maybe you can try one, try them all, or find something that works a little better for your needs! This is what works for me:
You can use this on hair and skin:
Argan oil is great head to toe, you can use it as a face moisturizer, hydrating toner, face mask, lip scrub, leave in conditioner so on and so forth the list is endless.
Almond oil is a carrier oil and it’s great for softening and conditioning your skin. This helps relieve dryness, itching and inflammation; also improves complexion doesn’t clog pores and a great makeup remover.
Vitamin E oil is great for hair and skin. Helps remove scars from skin, stretch marks, burn marks, pimple marks sunburns and a lot more. Helps reduce signs of aging skin by rejuvenating and promoting new healthy cells.
Black castor oil helps fight wrinkles by stimulating collagen production. It also promotes hair growth through improved blood circulation in the scalp and helps prevent hair loss. This can also be used as a treatment for dandruff and dry scalp. Improves scalp circulation, controls splint ends, increase hair luster, great moisturizer and helps thicken hair!
Avocado oil contains high amounts of proteins and omega fatty acids that are great for your skin! This is great for moisturizing the skin, boost scalp health, increase collagen production, and even helps with eczema.
Apricot oil is a light weight oil that contains vitamins A,C,E and omega fatty acids that are great for skin care.
**** Make sure before you use these oils that you don’t have any allergies to them even though they won’t be ingested you want to check.
The easiest way for me to apply is with a dropper bottle and applying them day and night. I have a dark color bottle to preserve the oils that are mixed together. I also never shake the bottle I roll them to make sure all of the components of the mixture are well mixed!
Check out Dr. Bronner’s as well, all natural soaps and lotions they have such a selection! I found the soaps I purchased on Amazon.
